Its Offical, We are Moving !

My husband has been working very hard over the years, and he has been offered a management position. I am very proud of him, he totally deserves this! My hardworking husband. Of course, we talked about it for a few days, had to take a lot of things into consideration. For one, I don't want to have to quit my job, second, we would be relocating to Concord. I don't mind relocating though, it'll be good for us. We've been looking at houses in the Pittsburg area, very nice and cheaper than San Jose.


My main focus is finding a home with a good school district because Jade will be starting school soon. Ahhhh My daughter is almost a preschooler! She growing up too fast. So anyway, a good school district is a must, nice area, a park close by, totally need a Mexican market near us too! I'm not being too picky am I? Didn't think so. A momma needs these to function correctly.


I was able to talk to my boss today about husbands promotion and relocating. I was so nervous on telling her that I would have to quit. Buuuutttttt, the conversation went well! She told me she doesn't want to lose me as an assistant and that I can work from home. Of course I said hek yea! I was over joyed. I absolutely love my job, so for me to be able to keep it, and work from home was just awesome for me.


My husband and I are very excited for this new journey. I couldn't be more proud of him, proud of us. God is blessing us in so many ways, and we are very grateful.

Worried Momma to Pround Momma

This past month was very stressful for both Annabelle and I. Since I began working, Annabelle has been refusing to eat solids or drink anything but water when I'm gone. I figured she'd be better after a few days or so, but no, she wasn't. I had to take her to her to see her pediatrician because I was concerned she was loosing weight. Well, I was right, she lost four pounds. For a fourteen month old, 18 pounds is below average and I wasn't having it. I felt like such a horrible mother. Right then and there I wanted to just quite the job that I've grown to really like. Her doctor gave me very helpful tips to get her to eat more solids so I decided to start them that day. Her and Jade now have matching plates and cups. I started feeding them the exact same foods, that way Annabelle doesn't feel left out for not eating what Jades eating. I am now proud to say Annabelle is doing great! She's started eating more solids, less boobies (which I am both sad and happy about).

As a mother, we want what is best for our children, and I'm just so happy that Annabelle is back to being a happy baby. I know it must of been very hard for her to see me go to work, and be gone six hours a day. The look on her face when I pick her up, I love it. Lets not forget about Jade here, she gets excited seeing me too. "Mommy you have to work so you can buy me and sissy more toys ok," says Jade. Gota love her! It's not hard at all for Jade to be away from me because she loves visiting her cousins, aunties and grandma. As long as she knows that I am coming back to pick her up, she's perfectly fine. Now lets hope Annabelle starts gaining her back her weight.

Thanks to My Wonderful Husband

This past weekend was great! My husband took vacation days from work, so he was off Thursday through Sunday. I worked both Wednesday through Friday this week and he was such a big help. Thursday he took them to Bounce O Rama. Jade was super excited, and Annabelle, well I was nervous for her. Annabelle is such a momma’s girl. Hubby said Annabelle did great without me, I was so relived. I worried for nothing. She usually cry’s if I’m not there with her, but she didn’t, and now I can do thing without her. I don’t mean to sound like I don’t like being around her, but sometimes I want mommy and daughter time with Jade. Hubby and the girls had a fun time without me and I’m perfectly fine with that. They need to spend alone time with Daddy too.

Friday I went into work for a few hours so daddy was with the girls. He fed them, bathe them, changed them. I have a hard time sometimes doing just one of those but he managed and did well. He put her down for her nap at nap time, surprised she didn’t put up a fight. The house was even clean when I got home! Another bonus! This husband of mine couldn’t be any more perfect. Yes he can! We went out on a double date later that night with his cousin and cousin’s wife. I had never been to K1 Speed, first time for everything. I was so nervous, I didn’t want to race anymore, but they made me! And I’m glad they did because it was AWESOME! Of course, Hubby didn’t let me win, he overlapped me. We then went to dinner at Chili’s. How nice it felt to have adult conversations without our kiddos needing our undivided attention. I felt like I was in heaven. The night ended great, picked up our girls at Aunt Ivonne’s (thanks Ivonne for watching the girls). The girls we’re already asleep, heck yea!

Saturday we took our girls to The Children’s Discovery Museum. Jade loves it there, and it was also Annabelle’s first time now that she can walk. We did some face painting on them first, they looked so cute and silly. Jade went off to make some friends but Annabelle took a while to warm up. Before we knew it, Annabelle was chasing after Jade. They we’re everywhere! From the Mammoth Exhibit, to the Multicultural Room, the Bubbles Room, Quiet Room, to the Water Room. We finished out in the garden, planting beautiful flowers. After the Discovery Museum we went to Lunch with my in laws. The girls had fun seeming their grandparents.  Hubby then dropped me off at my mother’s house, we made plans to go watch 50 Shades of Grey. Movies without the girls??? Yes please!!!! I can’t remember the last time I went to the movies childless. Well, the movie was, let’s just say I want to watch it again.  The night ended, I got picked up. Home sweet home, we got our girls ready for bed.

Sunday was our lazy day. Hubby made us a big breakfast, which was delicious. I did laundry, cleaned up the whole house. Took a quick trip to bed bath & beyond. Didn’t find what we we’re looking for. Came back home with Mexican Tacos, and Nachos for lunch. Movie day it was. Nice and relaxing. Thank you to my wonderful husband for everything you do for the girls and I. We love you very much.
